October 17th: FALL FESTIVAL

Wristband preorders are closed, but you can still buy them on Friday. Come enjoy inflatables, a barrel train ride, a maze, field activities/games, temporary tattoos, hair coloring, the cake walk, and an early/safe trunk or treat. We still need your help with donations and volunteering.

October 15th - 21st: Fall Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. We accept cash (in an envelope/baggy with your child’s name), check (GHES), credit card (parents only) and/or the easiest payment…eWallet!

October 22nd:  3-Hour Early Release!

October 31st: Storybook Dress Up Day

On Friday, October 31st, dress like your favorite Storybook Character to support making reading FUN! Who will your favorite teacher be? Which grade level will have the most students to dress-up?

 

Costumes can not contain the following: No masks, weapons, inappropriate language, or inflatables (must be able to participate in PE and recess). Please make sure the costume is something kids can get out of to use the restroom. We've had bathroom accidents with younger ones who are unable to take the costume off in time.

All October: SOCKTOBER Donations

We will be collecting socks, again this year, for Richmond Friends of the Homeless. Students will receive 1 house point for every pair/package that is donated. Bring to your teacher first to get credit, then they will go to a collection box will be in the hallway by the front office all October.

All October: PTA Membership Drive

For the month of October we will be keeping an eye on Grade Level signups. The grade level that has the highest percentage of sign ups will receive a day of extended recess! JOIN HERE
